What is a Share URL Post?
A Share URL Post lets you paste a link into the Media section of a post. Cloud Campaign will then convert that link into a branded, shortened shaa.re link once you make one small change to the media or description.
Two Ways to Shorten the Link
Option 1: Replace the Cover Image
Paste your link into the "Share URL" field under the Media tab.
It will generate a preview, including the title, image, and description.Example:
- Click “Replace Image” over the generated preview.
- Upload a new image OR
- Re-upload the same image — this is enough to trigger the shortened link.
Option 2: Edit the Website Title or Description
- After adding the link, click into the website title or the description text area of the preview.
- Make any edit — even a small one — to the description text.
Final Step: Save the Post
Once you save, Cloud Campaign will automatically generate a shortened link — usually starting with shaa.re.
And that’s it!
You’ve now successfully created a Share URL Post with a shortened link.
