Post Analytics in Cloud Campaign provides insights into how your published content performs across social media platforms. This feature displays aggregate metrics for posts published during a selected date range.
Note: Post Analytics is different from Account Analytics. Post Analytics only includes engagement that occurred on posts you created, while Account Analytics includes overall account-level data, such as new followers or page likes.
Filter Your Post Analytics
Filter by Account
By default, Cloud Campaign displays metrics for all social accounts connected to your workspace. If you want to narrow it down to a specific platform or brand:
- Click the account selector in the top-left corner.
- Choose the individual social account you want to view.
Filter by Date Range
Use the date selector in the top-right corner to define a custom time range. You can also select a predefined range (like Last 7 Days or Last 30 Days) to quickly update your metrics view.
Take Action on Your Insights
You can:
- Generate a report of your analytics.
These action buttons are found next to the date filter.
Post Performance Metrics
Total Posts
Displays how many posts were published during the selected date range.
Total Impressions
Shows how many total views your posts received.
Total Engagement
Tracks all user interactions across your filtered posts.
Engagement Breakdown
Engagement metrics reflect how audiences interact with your content:
- Total Likes: Number of likes your posts received.
- Total Comments: Number of comments left on your posts.
- Total Shares: Number of times users shared your posts.
- Total Clicks: Number of clicks on your content (including profile images, links, etc.).
Top Posts
Top Posts are determined by a weighted scoring system based on user engagement:
- 👍 Likes = 1 point
- 💬 Comments = 3 points
- 🔁 Shares = 4 points
- 🖱️ Clicks = 1 point
These are the posts with the highest interaction scores in the selected time range, helping you understand what content resonates most with your audience.
How Are Post Analytics Calculated?
Analytics are based on the publish date of the post—not the date when the interaction occurred.
Example:
If you publish a post on September 15, and users like it on September 16, all engagement will still be attributed to September 15.
Refreshing Old Data
Our system automatically updates analytics periodically. However, if a post goes viral long after it was published (e.g., shared by Forbes weeks later), you may not immediately see that engagement. To resolve this:
Generate a new report using fresh data for the original publish date range. Cloud Campaign will re-fetch analytics for that timeframe.
