Cloud Campaign offers powerful analytics to help you track performance across your social media accounts. This article breaks down the difference between Account Analytics and Post Analytics, so you can better understand your data and make informed decisions.
Accessing Analytics in Cloud Campaign
To get started:
- Log in to your Cloud Campaign dashboard.
- From the left-hand navigation, click Analytics.
- Choose between:
- Account Analytics – Shows page-level performance by date.
- Post Analytics – Tracks how posts performed over their lifetime.
What Are Account-Level Metrics?
Account Analytics give you insight into the overall health and performance of your connected social profiles.
Key Features:
- Account Selector: Choose one or multiple social accounts.
- Date Range Filter: View metrics for a custom date range.
- Comparison Period: Compare current metrics with a previous period to see growth or changes.
📘 Example: If you select January 1–15, the metrics reflect total engagement and audience growth that occurred during those dates, regardless of when posts were published.
Account Metrics Include:
-
Audience Growth
Tracks how your follower count has changed over time. -
Exposure
Measures total impressions and unique reach for your selected accounts. -
Engagement Breakdown
Displays total likes, shares, comments, and other interactions—plus percentage changes over time.
-
Engagement Rate
Shows how much of your audience is interacting with your content, helping you assess content effectiveness.
What Are Post-Level Metrics?
Post Analytics (formerly labeled “Historical”) show performance data for posts that were published within the selected date range.
Think of this as tracking the lifetime performance of individual posts created during that time window.
Post Metrics Include:
- Total Impressions
- Engagements (likes, shares, comments, clicks)
- Top Performing Posts
- Publish Dates
Example: If you're pulling a report for December, you'll only see data for posts published in December—no matter when users interacted with them.
How Are Post Metrics Calculated?
Post Analytics are tied to the publish date of a post—not when engagement happens.
If a post from September 15th receives likes on September 16th, those likes will still show under September 15th.
Cloud Campaign regularly refreshes this data. However, if you suspect delayed engagement (e.g., a post goes viral later), you can generate a new analytics report using fresh data to capture that activity.
