Cloud Campaign’s Analytics dashboard is designed to provide comprehensive performance data across all your connected social media accounts. However, some metrics may occasionally be missing or unavailable. This is typically due to limitations imposed by the platforms themselves, rather than an issue within Cloud Campaign.
Below are the most common reasons why your analytics might appear incomplete:
Historical Data Limitations
Most social media platforms restrict how far back they allow data to be retrieved. Cloud Campaign begins collecting your data from the moment you link your accounts, but historical metrics are limited to the timeframes set by each platform.
Here’s how far back each platform allows us to retrieve data:
- Facebook: up to 3 months of historical data
- Instagram: up to 30 days
- LinkedIn: up to 6 months
- YouTube: up to 2 months
- Pinterest: up to 3 months
- Google Business Profile: up to 18 months
- TikTok: up to 12 months
- Threads: up to 30 days
Minimum Follower Requirements
Some platforms restrict access to certain metrics if your account doesn’t meet their minimum follower threshold. This is often the reason you might not see analytics for newer or smaller accounts.
Currently, the following platforms enforce follower count minimums for data access:
- Instagram: Requires at least 100 followers
- TikTok: Requires at least 100 followers
If you recently crossed this threshold, metrics should begin appearing in your dashboard automatically within 24–48 hours.
Summary
If you notice missing analytics data, it’s most likely due to:
- Platform limitations on how far back data can be pulled
- Minimum follower requirements not being met
Cloud Campaign is committed to displaying as much available data as possible within the bounds of each platform's API policies.
