If you're receiving the following error when trying to post content to Facebook through Cloud Campaign:
"Please double check and remove any links from this post"…it means Facebook has flagged the link in your caption. This typically happens when the link has previously been shared on Facebook and reported as a violation—even if the report came from another user.
While Cloud Campaign can’t override Facebook’s link policies, here’s what you can do to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue.
Step-by-Step: What to Do When a Link Is Blocked
-
Try Posting the Link Natively on Facebook
- Go to your personal or business Facebook account.
- Try posting the exact same content (including the link) directly on Facebook.
- If the post is blocked there as well, you'll receive a similar error message confirming the link was flagged.
-
Report the Error to Facebook
- When the Facebook error appears, look for a “Let us know” or “Disagree with this decision” link.
- Click it to submit a request for Facebook to re-evaluate the blocked link.
- Follow the steps provided to submit your case.
Unfortunately, Cloud Campaign cannot influence Facebook’s decision to block or allow a link. This process is fully handled by Facebook’s Trust & Safety team.
-
Still Not Seeing the Option to Report?
- If no "Let us know" link appears, you can still contact Facebook through their official support portal: Facebook Help Center.
Why Does This Happen?
- Facebook uses automated systems to flag links that have been reported or violate their community guidelines.
- Even if your link is valid, it may have been flagged due to:
- User reports
- Association with spammy content
- Misuse in past Facebook posts
