If your social media accounts have become unlinked from Cloud Campaign, don’t worry—it’s a common issue and usually easy to resolve. Below are the most common reasons this can happen, along with tips on how to fix it.
1. Platform Security Policies (Token Expiration)
Many social media platforms automatically expire login tokens as a security measure. If you haven’t refreshed your connection in a while, the platform may require a relink.
Accounts that may require relinking every 60–90 days:
Tip: Set a calendar reminder to refresh your connections every 2 months to avoid unexpected disconnections.
2. Password or Permission Changes
If the password to a linked social account is changed, or if roles/permissions are updated (e.g., admin access removed), the platform will invalidate your previous connection.
In these cases, you’ll need to relink the affected account in Cloud Campaign to restore functionality.
How to Relink
To reconnect your social account:
- Log into your Cloud Campaign workspace.
- Navigate to the Linked Accounts section.
- Click “Add New”
- Click on the icon of the account you would like to link.
- Follow the prompts.
