As of Meta’s recent updates, Facebook Groups are no longer supported through their API. This means third-party platforms like Cloud Campaign are no longer able to post or interact with Facebook Groups.
To continue reaching your community, we recommend transitioning your Group audience to a Facebook Page. Doing so will ensure you can continue to publish content and engage your followers through Cloud Campaign.
Why This Change Matters
Due to Meta’s API deprecation for Facebook Groups:
- Cloud Campaign and similar platforms can no longer support Facebook Groups.
- You may notice posting failures or the inability to link Groups moving forward.
How to Move Your Audience from a Group to a Page
Meta offers a way to link your Group to a Facebook Page to help transition your audience. This helps you retain visibility with your group members and direct them to your Page where you can continue posting.
Follow Meta’s official instructions here to set up your Page-Group connection and notify members.
